Olivetti Studio is a design practice founded by Francesco Olivetti, working across brand, digital and product. Based between Milan and Rome.
It begins with a simple belief: nothing in design should happen by accident. A form, a word, a material, a proportion. Every element is a decision, and every decision has a reason. Ideas rarely belong to a single medium, so the studio follows them wherever they need to live, treating a screen and an object as the same expression of care.
The name is the starting point. Olivetti is a compass, not a lineage. It is a name to live up to, not one inherited. It stands for an idea of Italian design where function and emotion are inseparable, and where an everyday object deserves the same attention as an exceptional one.
The studio remains intentionally small. Specialists are brought together around each project, keeping the thinking close to the work and the execution precise.
Olivetti Studio believes design is a form of attention. The way something is made, and the thinking behind it, is what people feel long before they can explain why.
One system, every surface. A brand, a website, an object are never separate disciplines, but different surfaces of the same system: a small set of decisions, made once, precise enough to hold wherever the work appears. Surfaces change. The system does not.
The work is finding the decisions that survive every translation, and removing everything that does not. What remains is the solution that feels inevitable. The one that, once discovered, could never have been any other way. Not decoration, but clarity. Not noise, but meaning.
The ambition never changes: work that is deeply considered, carries a clear point of view, and belongs entirely to the people it is made for.
