Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Olivetti Studio ("we", "us", "our") collects and processes personal data through this website, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who we are
Olivetti Studio is a design practice founded by Francesco Olivetti. Address: Via Carlo D'Adda 23, 20143 Milan, Italy. VAT (P.IVA): 17662441009. Email: ciao@olivetti-studio.com. We are the data controller for the personal data processed through this site.
2. What data we collect
When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address and the message you choose to send us. Like most websites, our hosting provider also processes limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs, to keep the site secure and available.
3. Why we use it
We use your data only to read and reply to your enquiry and to discuss a possible project with you. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you, together with our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. We do not use your data for marketing, advertising or automated profiling.
4. Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of trusted providers ("processors") to run the site and deliver messages: Formspree, Inc. (contact-form delivery, United States), Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security and content delivery), and Google and Brevo (email delivery for ciao@olivetti-studio.com). Some providers are based outside the EU; such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data.
5. How long we keep it
We keep the messages you send us only for as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up, after which they are deleted.
6. Cookies
This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies that may be set are strictly necessary technical cookies from our security and hosting provider (Cloudflare), used solely to keep the site secure and working. Under EU law these do not require consent and do not identify you personally. Should we ever introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, as well as its correction, deletion, restriction and portability, and you may object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, write to ciao@olivetti-studio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
